Key Worker Wedding Photography Competition, Explained
By “The Results” we are of course referring to the actual photography that happened at Amy and Katty’s big day in 2022 at Dodford Manor. But, before we get into that, here’s why we did this.
During the COVID pandemic we were all in awe of our amazing key workers, front line workers, NHS heroes and all forms of other amazing people keeping us fed, watered, safe and alive. We did our part by trying to not spread the virus, but these guys were making that possible and helping us out when we needed them.
To say thank you, we wanted to do more than a round of applause on our doorsteps every Thursday evening. So, we thought we would run a little competition for key workers of all forms to enter (or for their friends and family to nominate them). The prize – a full day of wedding photography and a pre-wedding photography shoot with two photographers, for free. Nice and simple.
Who Were the Key Worker Winners?
The prize winners were the lovely Amy and Katty – at the time, two junior doctors and in and around Leicester. We had the absolute pleasure of having numerous chats, a pre-wedding shoot (including Betsy the pooch!!) and photographing their wonderful wedding at Dodford Manor, Northamptonshire in April last year (2022). It was a little corker.
These photographs come with a huge thank you – to Amy and Katty – and to all key workers – throughout the COVID pandemic, now and in the future.
To the happy couple specifically – thank you for allowing us to be a part of your day. We had a right old blast!
